I know photographers say it often, but I’m really crazy about what I do. Photographing weddings allows me to do many of my favorite things: meet absolutely amazing people and form significant relationships, create art out of their sweetest (and most playful) moments; and spend time with people who are desperately in love.
I believe that the love between a couple is one of the most enchanting and captivating things we can experience. Each couple has a unique energy, whether that be a quiet and low-key love, or a spontaneous, passionate type of love. I relish watching the subtleties of your love, to artistically tell the story of the day and your relationship.
I started photographing from an art background, after first using an old Pentax camera my father had given me while studying in college. My background in art has helped in my approach to shooting weddings. I believe weddings are prime terrain for creating artwork and I like to challenge the assumption of what wedding photography can be. You can expect a mix of creative, fun and candid photographs in your wedding coverage. My goal is to capture a collection of images that feel modern and unique, yet are absolutely timeless.
When I’m not photographing weddings, I enjoy spending time with my family, photographing my baby boy, dining out (I love eclectic little hidden restaurants, especially around Cleveland) visiting with friends, listening to talk radio, art, shopping (purses are my indulgence), or simply enjoying a good glass of wine.
