Welcome! My name is Elizabeth, and that's me over to the left with my all-time favorite subject, my son Tyler. :) I'm a Cleveland Ohio wedding and portrait photographer.
I'm hoping that this blog will serve as a journal of sorts -- my photographs and the adventures I've had capturing them. You'll also find some cool links, articles and resources related to anything I find fascinating. So take a look around, check things out, and hang out for a while. And feel free to leave a comment or two if you feel like sharing some blog love.

Danielle and Brent met through a mutual friend after both had graduated college. After one eventful New Years Eve, they officially became a couple.
This past March, Danielle and Brent traveled to Southwest Florida to visit family. One evening, while they were supposed to be on a dinner date, Brent surprised Danielle with a beach side marriage proposal behind the Ritz Carlton of Naples. To top off the evening, Brent planned a surprise engagement party with their families.
Danielle and Brent had a lovely, holiday themed wedding complete with a Santa and Mrs. Claus. Their ceremony was held at the Lyndhurst Presbyterian Church, in Lyndhurst with a reception following at Weymouth Country Club, in Medina. We stopped at the Arcade in Downtown Cleveland for some photos before hitting the reception. (We also snuck outside for a few photos around East 4th Street, even though the windchill in Downtown Cleveland was FREEZING!) Here’s a list of their venues and vendors, and a few of my favorites from our day:
Courtney and Josh are originally from the Northeastern Ohio, but currently live in Orange County, CA. They don’t see snow on the West coast, so Courtney requested to have our session in December after the snow had fallen. We decided to venture out to Alpine Valley Ski Resort for our session, and 24 degrees and snow didn’t stop us! Courtney and Josh were troopers! They did a FABULOUS job during our session, and I can’t wait to see them again in September.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY little Sam!!!! Sam turned 1 in December, so his mom, Amy contacted me to schedule a portrait session. This is Sam’s second session of the year — We took some photos when Sam was 5 months. You can check them out here.
Little Sam is such a charmer! We had a great time.
2010 has officially rolled in, and with it being a very busy time for wedding planning, I thought I’d offer up a blog posting on vendor suggestions.
The following is a list of people I’ve worked with, network with and/or personally know and trust for their professional abilities:
Happy New Year! Since 2010 has officially rolled in and with January being an extremely busy time for wedding planning, I thought I’d offer up a blog posting on vendor suggestions. The following is a list of people I’ve worked with, network with and/or personally know and trust for their professional abilities:
Elizabeth - You and Bob are fabulous to work with! Happy New Year, Krista! :)
Elizabeth - Absolutely! You guys are great to work with and thanks for the info on R&TCE! Just added your name and updated their link. :)
Michelle Romary - Happy 2010!!! Thank you for "Preferring" Rick & the Cutting Edge! We prefer you as well! We really hope to work with you this year! Cheers to a prosperous 2010!!!
Jerry Bruno Productions - Thanks for the recommendation on our bands! One of the bands you mentioned, Rick and the Cutting Edge, is actually booked exclusively through our office.
We also have tons of DJs to choose from...not to mention everything for the ceremony and dinner hours, like harpists, strings, singers, pianists, guitarists, and jazz groups.
Thanks again, Elizabeth!
Krista Newill - Hey Lizz, thanks so much for mentioning us, we appreciate that! Hope you have a great 2010! :-)
Recently, I met up with Katy and Frank for our E-Session at one of my favorite spots — Downtown Cleveland! Frank is the brother of another client, Manda, who was married in 2008.
During our session, we walked around to a few locations in the area, dodged some Browns fans and braved the chilly Cleveland temps. Katy and Frank were really great for putting up with the cold weather during our session! Northeastern Ohio winters can get SO COLD! Brrr….

The day after Thanksgiving I met up with the Eisenberg family in Beachwood, Ohio. It was Mr. and Mrs. Eisenberg’s 40th Anniversary, so their daughter Michelle decided to surprise them with a family portrait session. What a great idea! Here’s a few of my favorites from our session…
On November 14th I shot Sam’s Bat Mitzvah. To say I was excited is an understatement, as this was the first time I was going to shoot this type of event. Lemme just tell you, it was OFF THE HOOK! The kids really knew how to have fun, and Sam’s parents threw quite the party! The kids were dancing from the moment they got to the party, with barely enough time to eat. It was amazing! Here’s their vendors and a few of my favorites from the day.
Oh my goodness, where do I start with this wedding post? I’ll begin by saying that I LOVED LOVED LOVED the style Rachel chose. From the purple accents (shoes, wristlets, shawls, flower girl’s hair clip), to Tom’s very debonair George Clooney esq traditional tux, to the feather Rachel wore in her hair. Everything was put together so well! On top of the lovely details, I had a great time with this amazing couple. (Check out their E-Session here)
Here’s a breakdown of our day’s locations, vendors, and my favorite moments:
With the exception of being a little chilly, Becky and Nick’s wedding was on a perfectly sunny October day. The ceremony was at Becky’s alma mater (these two met while Becky was studying to be a nurse at Case Western Reserve University), immediately across the street from our first photo location at The Cleveland Museum of Art lagoon. After taking some group and individual photos, we headed off to our second location by the Cleveland skyline, and then off to their reception in North Olmsted.
