Welcome

Welcome! My name is Elizabeth, and that's me over to the left with my all-time favorite subject, my son Tyler. :) I'm a Cleveland Ohio wedding and portrait photographer.

I'm hoping that this blog will serve as a journal of sorts -- my photographs and the adventures I've had capturing them. You'll also find some cool links, articles and resources related to anything I find fascinating.  So take a look around, check things out, and hang out for a while. Anna & Rick’s Wedding in Downtown Cleveland

Since we initially met last spring, I’d been looking forward to Anna’s gorgeous wedding day. It was then that she told me about her fiance, Rick, who travels frequently as a pilot. In fact, he proposed to Anna on a trip to Paris — at the Eiffel tower.

We had a beautiful Saturday in downtown Cleveland, and we made the most of it by going to two photo locations in between the ceremony at The Old Stone Church and reception at Windows on the River. Their wedding was elegant and classy, yet we had a fun & relaxing time with Anna, Rick & their wedding party.

Veena & Alex’s Indian Wedding at Lake Farmpark

They met the night Veena crashed Alex’s Medical School Halloween Party. A year-and-a-half later, Alex whisked Veena off to Panama to ask for her hand in marriage.

Friday evening Veena and Alex held their Sangeeth at Quail Hollow Resort, followed by their wedding on Saturday at the Lake Farmpark in Kirtland.

This was my first experience photographing an Indian wedding, and what an experience it was! Aside from the gorgeous colors and festive events of the day, Veena and Alex were a joy to be around. They made me feel like more of a friend than a vendor. Many thanks to Veena and Alex for including me in their exquisite wedding celebration. I had an amazing time.

Cleveland Ohio Wedding:: Barb & Marc

I’ve known Barb for a few years now. In fact, we graduated high school together and we’ve kept in contact through mutual friends.

Barb and Marc met at a Halloween party several years ago. Last March, Marc surprised Barb at a local jewelry store by buying her a ring and dropping down on one knee.

These two share a great sense of humor and it’s obvious they’re totally into each other.

Cleveland Ohio Wedding:: Angela & Bobby

I’d been looking forward to photographing Angela and Bobby’s wedding for quite awhile, as it was one of the first dates I’d booked for 2010. Their elegant wedding day started out in the heart of downtown Cleveland at St. Maron Church, followed by a photo session at The Old Arcade and then a reception at Casa De Borrally’s.

Cleveland Ohio Engagement Session:: Andrea & Paul

With Andrea and Paul living in Chicago, Cleveland is not only this couple’s wedding location but was the perfect spot for our engagement session. We decided to shoot in The Flats. With their laid-back personalities, Andrea and Paul were super-fun to work with and I’m looking forward to their wedding this June at the Windmill Lakes Golf Club.

Cleveland Ohio Bat Mitzvah:: Zoey G.

I had a blast shooting Zoey’s Mitzvah! Zoey was a referral from another client who’s daughter had a recent Mitvah, Samantha.

We planned her family portraits for Thursday morning at Park Synagogue in Cleveland Heights. On Saturday evening I photographed her party at Sammy’s, Legacy Village in Beachwood. Rock the House kept the party going and everyone had a blast.

I’m frequently designing albums yet they never end up on my blog. Since so many of my clients ask to see them when we first meet, I thought I’d add a blog entry with some album info.

85% of the time I shoot horizontally, so I offer square albums. My albums have 100% leather covers with 13 colors to choose from. Clients can also upgrade for additional cover options. Here’s how it works:
